Strong pace from Viktor and Shangri La Impact matching motors with Dark Arts close at hand. VIKTOR (1) stuck to his task gamely at Hawkesbury last time out over a mile, and he is getting stronger all the time. He has the winkers on for the first time, which will help keep his mind on the job, and his first win is not far away. On top. DARK ARTS (2) has shown a lot of pace to lead in his last couple of starts and has been run down late in both of them. There will be no fitness excuses fourth up, and he will be hard to peg back again. SHANGRI LA IMPACT (5) had been showing promise at the trials and made a positive debut when finishing second as favourite at Kembla Grange just over a fortnight ago. He has a good draw and is bred to improve with racing. Stick with him and follow your money. BARBRAY (3) improved quickly from his modest debut effort to finish third at Hawkesbury 3 weeks ago. He is peaking at the right time and can figure in the top 3 again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Viktor to win.
