CERONS (2) was a touch disappointing when resuming but will have taken a lot of benefit from that hit-out and gets plenty of weight relief with the 3kg claim. Strikes a winnable contest here and looks the one they all have to run down. KIWI SPIRIT (6) placed in both outings before the spell and was then given time to mature. Can return a winner. KING BOOM (5) has tuned up for this with two handy trials and is another to get some weight off. Respect from the Gollan yard. CANTANKEROUS (13) strips fitter second-up from the spell and gets Thornton on board from the favourable draw. Top-three candidate. SHAMOUTI (12) next in line from the inside alley.
