MRS JONES (10) finished 3 lengths from the winner in eighth last start after being prominent at the bend over 2000m at Fukushima, an improvement on her first-up 15th at Niigata the run before. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a major role. GLEAM STAR (1) finished fourth last start over 1400m at this track after racing on the pace for much of the way. Expected to be in this for a long way. ASAGA KURU (12) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing third and only 1.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 1300m after being prominent at the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. GRACE SUNRISE (9) scored two back at this track but was below her best last time when ninth over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to bounce back.
