Good tempo assured with Superb King leading the charge. ELEGANT LIFE (3) turned in a fine effort to win easily at this course and distance last start in a much improved run. He carries 4kg more in the same class, and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. SUPERB KING (2) was in the placings again last time when finishing a solid second over 1200m at this track. Yet to win this track and distance but has recorded four minor placings from six attempts. Winning claims on best figures. LIVE WIRE (8) showed early speed from an outside draw last time and led for much of the way before fading to finish fifth, beaten just under a length, over 1200m at this track. Will take catching again. THUNDER PRINCE (10) was well supported when weakening out of it after working hard here 3 weeks ago. He is good enough to make amends. Stick with him on an each-way basis.
