Strong pace with Samudra, Esha and Hello Romeo pushing forward, closely attended by Bacash and Cavalry Girl. Good race. ESHA (11) is an interesting one on resumption. She's a very well bred filly by Extreme Choice out of the good mare I Am A Star who was dominant on debut at Morphettville Parks, scoring by 3.5 lengths in fast time. She's won both jumpouts leading in and draws ideally for Lane. Tipping she's very good. OYSTER LANE (4) has just found one better at both starts to date but has run very well each time. Stays at 1000m again but should prove very hard to hold out. BACASH (3) was well backed off a dominant fresh win at Flemington last time out, just finding one better. Tough drawn but Shinn goes on and he's got ability. SAMUDRA (9) was heavily backed to score on debut at Sandown Hillside, getting the job done by a long neck. She's very well bred out of G1 winning sprinter Pippie and can measure up. HELLO ROMEO (1) is going well and should be thereabouts. SUGGESTED PLAY: Esha to win.
