Solid tempo with Mechanic Ballet to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. ARGENTUM (8) finished 16th two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1700m at this track, beaten only 1.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. PEGASUS WIND (12) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1700m at Hakodate Dirt, beaten 8 lengths into fourth after being prominent at the turn. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. ALOHA (1) is a four-start maiden who finished seventh at her most recent appearance over 1500m at Sapporo. Expected to feature in the finish this time. HO O LAURENTIA (11) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and was prominent for a long way before fading to finish fourth over 1700m at this track. Cannot be underestimated.
