Solid tempo headed by Loppis and Martee. SPES LIGA (10) built on a nice second two starts back at Nagoya with success over 1300m at this track six weeks ago, getting home by 4 lengths. Taku Kawashima scored on him last time and retains the mount. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. MARTEE (8) showed good speed here last time over 900m until tiring late and finishing eighth, beaten 6 lengths. Well placed and will take some running down. SHOSAN KANAO (2) scored two runs back then was well supported last time but could only manage to finish eighth over the same trip at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. LOPPIS (1) finished fifth last start over 1300m at this track after racing on the pace for much of the way. Cannot be underestimated.
