Plenty of speed from Pick 'N' Mix and Flying Ace. PICK 'N' MIX (7) is another decent winning chance for the local McEvoy stable. She's won 2/3 and resumes off an all-the-way win in a Geelong 64. She's jumped out well, and Coffey is reunited. Hayes-trained THE SHOWVINIST (1) has been racing in stronger company and wasn't beaten far at Sandown-Lakeside last time. Has the inside barrier and flies on synthetic surfaces. Bringing his A-game, he will go close. MISS TALLCHIEF (5) missed a whisker in a Sandown-Lakeside 70 over 1200m. It was a big effort, and she may sit closer today. The shorter sprint is a niggle but she rates well enough and has each-way claims. TOCHKA (6) led and was quickly back on track, winning here at 64 level. Linda sticks aboard and will position forward. Sure to give a sight for the McEvoy yard. ICHIBERU (8) is back from Adelaide and has plenty of weight relief. She keeps improving and deserves a look. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pick 'N' Mix appeals.
