Plenty of pace with La Chiave and Seiun Gajumaru leading from Iris Rosso. ALEX K (6) will find this a little easier than his third on debut three weeks ago, beaten 2.75 lengths at the end of 1200m at this track. Likely improver so he shouldn't be a maiden for long. LA CHIAVE (3) raced once in the maiden preparation when ninth at Tokyo Dirt over 1400m back on June 14. Forced to lead from a wide gate and turned there but dropped right out. Better for the experience, better draw and back in trip. Can give a sight fresh. SEIUN GAJUMARU (4) faced the starter for the first time and finished fifth last start at Fukushima Dirt over 1150m, beaten 13 lengths. Worth following up. IRIS ROSSO (8) finished second last time over 1000m at Sapporo Dirt, beaten 3.5 lengths. Placed to advantage and can take this out.
