Not much early pressure but Alodie, Covert Mission and Zovozo can take up forward spots. COSMIC SHOWER (6) is knocking on the door and finds the right race having placed in all three this time in, just finding one better here last time out with gaps back through the field. She'll kick up from the inside and prove very hard to run down. SUNDAY VENDETTA (3) is a gelding by Justify on debut for the Hayes yard. He's jumped out well including a win on this surface and he should be ready to go. COVERT MISSION (2) was sent out $2.40 first up at Seymour but struggled on the heavy going, pulling up with issues. He showed ability last time in and can bounce back quickly. ZOVOZO (7) ran a good race on debut at Sale to grab third and should be better for it. PHILLIP ISLAND (10) was solid here fresh at 1000m and can improve up in trip. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cosmic Shower to win.
