Typhoon Nine is expected to lead at a strong tempo. TYPHOON NINE (3) is a two-start maiden who looks close to a win after placing at both runs, the latest when second over 1200m at Hakodate. Has a high cruising speed. Leading contender. KICHIROKU TOWER (6) is yet to break through after three career starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at Hakodate two starts back before finishing fourth over 1200m at Hakodate last start. Likely to be about the money. REAL JAPAN (5) gave a sight but faded to finish tenth over 1500m at this track at the last outing eight days ago. Should be competitive in this suitable race. TAKE CARE (4) gave away a big start at the top of the straight last start and finished 8 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1200m at this track. No surprise if she figured in the finish.
