Kentucky Blue to take charge ahead of Red Rebel at a strong tempo. CORN COB (1) disappointed two back before getting back out to 1400m last start where he just missed in a good effort. Webster's claim comes in handy and he was a track and trip winner three starts ago in dominant fashion. Can recapture his winning form. RED REBEL (3) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second at Roebourne two starts back then landed the prize by a neck last time out over 1400m at this track. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. LOMBADINA (2) stepped up in trip to 2100m last time at Belmont Park and ran below her best, finishing 9 lengths away in 13th. Better suited at this shorter trip so is capable of a lot more this time. HARD QUESTIONS (8) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by half a length over 1400m at this track. Will be better for that latest run and cannot be ruled out. KENTUCKY BLUE (6) won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Corn Cob can get back to winning ways.
