Maiden Race 1200m
ARZAK (2) returned from a break and was on a turf track for the first time last start when second over this course and distance, beaten 1.3 lengths. Has the speed to be prominent. Will be prominent for a long way. NISHINO ALL ONE (10) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third when resuming last time out over 1200m at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. SWEEP SERENITY (15) returned last time with a solid third at Fukushima over 1200m after being prominent at the bend. Ready to go a couple better. LINEABIERTA (6) is a five-start maiden who finished sixth, beaten 4 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at Kyoto. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration. |

Maiden Race 1000m
MALIBU SURF (10) is yet to break through after four career starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at Hanshin Dirt two starts back before finishing fourth over 1200m at Niigata Dirt last start. Well placed this line-up and might be her day. SUIVRE (2) made progress last time out, finishing 4.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1000m at this track after being in contention on the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. IVY MEOW (5) impressed last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished 3 lengths from the winner in third over 1200m at Kyoto Dirt after being in the firing line on the corner. Nicely placed to take this out. QUEEN'S SUZURAN (6) was in contention on the turn and finished third last time over 1000m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten 3.5 lengths. Should feature in the finish. |

Maiden Race 1700m
KOIOS TESORO (9) is a genuine type with three minor placings from three starts this campaign. Was prominent throughout and finished a nose from the winner in second last start over 1700m at this track. Little depth to this and he looks the winner. XEROGRAPHICA (1) was below his best last start when beaten a long way into tenth over 1700m at this track. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Expecting a better showing. SHIN ENDO TSUDA (12) returns after nine weeks in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fifth over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt. One of the trifecta and first four contenders. ECORO ABYSS (6) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at Hakodate, beaten 5 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. |

Maiden Race 1800m
AIR VIBES (11) made a nice return two back then met with solid backing but disappointed when seventh over 1600m at Kyoto four weeks ago. Rates highly and can bounce back. I'M IN (14) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was beaten 1.5 lengths into fourth over 1800m at this track. Nicely placed to find winning form. COEUR FIDELE (5) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations first-up at Tokyo, finishing seventh and beaten 4 lengths over 1600m after being in contention on the turn. Anticipating a big run this time. LA LA GNUDI (2) has not raced since his debut on February 15 over 1800m at Tokyo when he finished fourth, beaten 2 lengths. Plenty of scope for improvement. |

Newcomer Race 1200m
STELLAR TOP GUN (1) is a two-year-old colt on debut. From an elite family that includes Gr 2 winner King Hermes, being by Mozu Ascot from Stellar Lead. Has a nice gate and looks set to play a major role. MIHATENU YUME (2) is on debut for the Kyoko Maekawa stable. Two-year-old filly by Caravaggio from Romantic Kiss. Looks a definite contender, particularly if the money comes. AGORDINO (5) is a nicely bred two-year-old colt on debut. By Efforia from Molto Felice who produced Gr 3 winner K T Clever. Promising type who cannot be left out of calculations. NURNBERG (7) is a two-year-old filly on debut from the stable of Ryo Takei. By Tower Of London from Urd. Worth watching for a betting push. |

Maiden Race 1700m
Expecting one of the top two to win. PRINCESS ATSUKO (5) ran on strongly but just failed to pick up the winner as favourite last start over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt. Going well and this looks the perfect assignment. ERIKA BIARRITZ (3) went forward from the low draw last start and sat on the pace before sticking on well to finish second over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Placed to advantage and poses a genuine threat. KOSOKU YUNO (6) returned from a spell two weeks ago when she was beaten 5.5 lengths into fourth over 1700m at this track. Strips fitter and can feature. PROOFREADING (9) finished 4.5 lengths away in fourth at her last appearance over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt on May 31. Going okay and is among the trifecta and first four hopes. |

Allowance Race 2000m
Looks a race in three. MEISHO TENKU (4) was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish fifth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 2200m in the G2 Kyoto Shimbun Hai. Nice class drop today and in a field of limited depth he looks the goods. DO ADVANTAGE (11) sat just off the speed and fought on well to finish second when resuming last start at this course and distance. Yet to miss the frame from four starts at the trip, including a win. Poses the greatest threat. MAKANA ANELA (6) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third last time over 2000m at this track. Likely to be about the mark again. IDOCRASE (8) returns from a layoff of ten weeks. Scored over 1800m at Kokura to launch the last campaign. Worth throwing in the exotics. |

Allowance Race 1000m
MAME TANK (1) wound up strongly last time out to finish 0.8 lengths adrift in second over 1200m at Kyoto Dirt when resuming after a break. Not the strongest line-up here so he will be tough to stop again. KATTAPPA (7) is back at the races for the first time since April 19. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1200m at Hanshin Dirt. Expect him to play a major role. FRIENDS PLUS (2) drifted well back from the inside draw last time before winding up strongly and finishing fifth over 1000m at this track. Among the chances. T O NATALIE (11) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish ninth, beaten 7 lengths, over 1000m at this track. Worth including in exotics. |

OSHAMAMBE TOKUBETSU 1200m
LA LA BANYULS (4) is back from a spell of ten weeks. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 1200m at Fukushima. Has won here at this distance and looks the one they have to beat. DREAMING UP (7) progressed nicely last time out when he did his best work late to finish just half a length from the winner in second over 1200m at this track. Meeting a deeper field this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. CHOU CREAM (8) strode forward early from her wide draw last start over 1200m at this track then fought on gamely to finish second. Going up a level this time but she is up to the challenge. FUNNY BUNNY (6) ran below expectations last start, finishing sixth and beaten 6 lengths at this track over 1200m. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. |

TOYAKO TOKUBETSU 2000m
HEART METEOR (1) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations first-up at this track, finishing tenth and beaten 6 lengths over 1800m. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. WILL SURVIVE (4) resumed over 1800m and turned in a fair run to finish sixth at Tokyo. Has two from five starts when racing second-up so certainly open to sharp improvement. YO HIN (3) finished sixth over 2000m at Hanshin at her most recent appearance on March 29. Sound first-up performer who can make her presence felt. LORD MANNHEIM (6) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start over 1800m at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths into sixth. Capable of featuring prominently. |

SEIKAN STAKES 1200m
BLACK CHALICE (2) is a handy type who resumes after a break of 11 weeks. Only appeared once last prep when she finished 15th over 1600m in the G1 Oka Sho (Japanese 1000 Guineas) at Hanshin, beaten 12 lengths. Has two wins to her name when fresh from a spell. Big chance in this far easier first-up assignment. ROUGE LANAKILA (14) is back after a break of four months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1200m at Nakayama. Looks a key runner. AMERICAN STAGE (12) started favourite last time but found one better over 1000m at Niigata. Will appreciate the extra ground. Expected to be in the finish again. LORD FOUR ACES (13) is back from a break of 11 weeks. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when 12th over 1200m at Listed level at Nakayama. Will race handy and looks sure to be thereabouts. |

Allowance Race 1700m
T M GOGH (2) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt. Comes here with undeniable claims. STRONG BOY (4) registered his first win last start over 1700m at this track, getting home by 1.5 lengths. Re-unites with Takuma Ogino who was on board last time. Big chance to go back-to-back. MEISHO SOLARIS (10) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was in the firing line on the bend before being beaten 5.5 lengths into seventh over 1700m at this track. Fitter so expect a better run this time. GRACEFUL MARCH (5) finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 1700m at this track, beaten 0.8 lengths. Likely improver with live claims. |
