AWS QTIS Three-Years-Old Maiden Plate 1800m
Expecting plenty of speed from Zayyano, Bills Angel and Show'em Who's King from Alkebulan. The maiden stayers kick us off. SHOW'EM WHO'S KING (6) has gotten better with each run and looks to be building up to a maiden victory. Peisley sticks in the irons following the past couple of outings and strikes a very winnable contest here. Rates the testing material. BON RIVIERE (1) went down by the narrowest of margins at Dalby last time out and should be ready for the step-up in trip now. Looms as the main danger. The well-related ZAYYANO (8) (half to 2xG1 winner Grunt) is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and has been kept ticking over with a recent trial win. Top-three commodity. IRISH HANDCUFFS (3) placed over this track and trip at the latest effort and looks a must for the exotics players. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 6,1,8,3. |

Ezequote QTIS Two-Years-Old Maiden Plate 1200m
Plenty of unraced runners engaged which muddies the map a little. It is fair to assume a solid tempo. Tricky race to assess with many of these babies facing the starter for the first time. Of the raced brigade MISHANI ADIOS (5) is unlucky to still be a maiden placing in both starts to date and has race experience over a lot of these. Gets 1.5kg weight relief from the inside marble and looks the one they all have to run down. HIGH AUTHORITY (3) looked handy placing at Eagle Farm on debut before maybe suffering from the second-up syndrome last time out. Has since been given time to mature and has revved up for this with two recent trials. Has to be included in calculations. VITAL IMPACT (13) wasn't too far away in town on debut and should find this assignment a touch easier. In the mix. WINNING HARLOW (11) is at the races for the first time but is sure to be well-educated out of the Lees yard. Respect any market confidence. MARIA CLARA (8) placed in a recent trial and any push in betting must be noted. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mishani Adios to break through. |

Dindas Maiden Handicap 1000m
Pace only fair with Demes Girl rolling to the lead ahead of Lady Milan and Military Legend. LADY MILAN (4) has placed two of three over this sprint journey and is knocking on the door of a maiden victory. Gets 2kg off from the favourable draw and should be right there when the whips are cracking. PIPPIE POMAR (5) has been thereabouts in all three runs this preparation and will be rock-hard fit for this. Can make her presence felt. MILITARY LEGEND (8) is drawn to get a cosy run in transit from the inside alley and this is not an overly strong affair. Top-three credentials. CHANCE DE LUNE (7) gets in well at the weights with the claim and may trouble the judge with any luck in running. THRASH A BULLY (6) next best from the astute Goldman yard. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lady Milan to break the maiden status. |

MiTek Class 4 Handicap 1000m
In the small field Hi Tiago or Over Draft should find the front. The well-related HI TIAGO (7) (half to G3 winner Hear The Chant) returned in fine fashion with a close-up second over this course and distance and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Only needs some luck navigating from the sticky draw to be playing a major role in the outcome. PALEFACE RINGO (1) got a well-deserved victory last time out and will have derived a stack of confidence from that win. Goes well for hoop Hellyer and can go back-to-back without surprising. GREY EFFECTS (4) resumes here but showed enough when last in work to warrant serious consideration in a race of this nature. Respect any push in betting. STANISLAUS (2) also hails from a handy family (half to G1 winner Golden Mile) and has won when fresh before. In the mix. OVER DRAFT (6) best of the rest with the claim. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 7,1,4,2. |

Hume Doors & Timber BM70 Handicap 1200m
Solid tempo with Detrimental leading from Tribbiani and Count Nicholas. The well-related TRIBBIANI (6) (half to 3xG1 winner Explosive Jack) has hit a purple patch of form this campaign with two wins and a placing from three outings and is racing high on confidence of late. Gets in well at the weights with the 2kg claim and should be right there at the business end. COUNT NICHOLAS (5) has a handy record over this distance range with a win and eight placings from 13 attempts and will be rock-hard fit for this. Rates among the leading chances. SPIRIT OF BRODIE (3) has put back-to-back victories together and is another to get some weight relief. Top-three candidate. RALPHIE (1) hasn't been too far away at the past couple of efforts and may earn some minor money. DETRIMENTAL (4) best of the rest while fresh. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Quinella 6,5,3. |

Good early pressure with Enforceable or Elusive Domina likely to take up the running.
FIRE BOMBER (2) returned in good order with a solid victory at Ipswich and winning rider Wilson Taylor sticks in the saddle. Looks the runner in this field with the most upside and can go back-to-back to start the campaign. ENFORCEABLE (4) grows a leg for hoop Lloyd who is yet to miss a drum in four steers. Strips fitter second-up from the spell and has to be included in calculations. AVE CANTARE (6) was a touch plain last time out but the form prior was full of merit. Worth another chance. I'LLTELLYOUTONIGHT (10) has won two from three around this circuit and rarely puts in a poor one. Can play a role in the finish. The well-related MISHANI WITNESS (5) (half to Listed winner and G2 placed Mishani Hustler) is a last-start victor who shouldn't be slept on. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 2,4,6,10. |

Hyne Timber Handicap 1200m
Cracking tempo with Capital Asset and Muschialli leading the way. BLITZBURG (5) was an impressive winner here two back before just running into one better at the latest outing. Has placed three of five over this distance range and should be right there when the judge calls a halt. HASTEN DELIGHT (4) is a four-time winner over this trip and will strip fitter with that first-up run now in the locker. Draws the inside marble and shouldn't be discounted lightly. The well-related LIVING FREE (1) (half to G1 winner Warning) will be at peak fitness for this and gets some weight relief with the 2kg claim. In the mix. RISE OF THE MASSES (6) is a bit hit or miss but is more than capable enough on his day. Sure to be thereabouts. MUSCHIALLI (7) rounds out the selections. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Blitzburg. |

Langs Building Supplies BM65 Handicap 1800m
Sea Warning should spear straight to the front of the small field. STRANGLEHOLD (3) wasn't too far away in town last time out and should find this assignment a touch easier. Is one from one around this circuit and is drawn to get a gun run from the inside alley. Goes on top. OLD SONG (6) has been thereabouts in all three runs this time in work and will be at peak fitness for this. Can make her presence felt. KIRORO PEAK (1) goes well for hoop Sheargold who has two wins and three placings from nine steers. Boasts a victory here and best figures measure up. The well-related BODHRAN (4) (half to G3 winner Gaulois) is a consistent conveyance who rarely runs a bad race. In the mix. SEA WARNING (9) best of the rest with the claim from the low draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning towards Stranglehold. |
