NUM TIME COMMENT
1 11:33 Dominant Clean Sweep Handicap 1568m
Expecting Pierroplane to take up the running with Affaire Vue and Hidden Bounty close at hand. PIERROPLANE (3) followed up his dominant debut win with a gutsy on-pace effort at headquarters when beaten a lip. At his top now third-up and has enough dash to offset the wide alley. Can go one better on the quick turnaround. EMPIRE GRACE (7) caught the eye in her first two runs back but couldn't finish off in the same fashion last time. Peaking now and should appreciate the added trip. Gets in light with the 2kg claim and finally draws a gate. Big danger. WIND RUSH (2) is yet to strike through this prep but is knocking on the door. Backs up quickly after just missing on the main track last week and finds another suitable race. AFFAIRE VUE (9) was far from her best last time in the slop at Mt Gambier but was much better the start prior when getting the job done at Strathalbyn. Drops back to a winning trip and is worth keeping in mind. PETIT EAGLE (8) chased strongly into fourth two weeks ago at Murray Bridge and is going well enough to make his presence felt again.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Pierroplane to win.
2 12:07 Sportsbet Blackbook Handicap 1568m
Solid tempo set by Placo and Mystic Wonder. SURPRISE COMING (6) has missed narrowly in his two runs back but should be at his top now. Drawn sticky but possesses enough early dash to offset quickly. Keeps the 2kg claimer to get him in well at the weights and should be right there at the business end again. MYSTIC WONDER (5) skipped through the conditions here three weeks ago when scoring comfortably. Not much tougher this time and keeps Holder. PLACO (7) has been good without striking through this campaign but should be at his top fourth-up. Will bounce to the front and give backers a bold sight. SNOOPY NOW (2) strips fitter third-up and is a distance specialist. Among the main hopes. FALAISE (9) caught the eye second-up here when flashing home from the rear. Shoulders peaks that measure up and is one to keep onside.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Slight lean to Surprise Coming.
3 12:42 PFD Food Services Handicap 1973m
They should run this along with I Catchem Fox and Hot Too Go taking it up over Aristonous. I CATCHEM FOX (1) comes right into calculations after some key scratchings. Went forward last time at Murray Bridge and kept finding out in front, holding on to score by a neck. Claims an important 2kgs again. Will be giving himself every chance. ARISTONOUS (5) brings some strong Vic figures over the border and gets significant weight off. Has proven versatile with his speed this prep and is among the winning chances. EXALTED FIRE (6) is on the quick back-up and boasts peaks that measure up. Not dismissing. HOT TOO GO (7) was okay when resuming in testing conditions over the mile at Flemington last time. Better for that and is open to sharp improvement.  SUGGESTED PLAY: I Catchem Fox can score again.
4 01:17 Sportsbet Jockey Watch Handicap 1000m
Pace strong with Super Alana and Gin A Tonic leading with Sir Now nearby. SIR NOW (1) is an absolute rock for the Hewitt stable and is sure to be putting his best foot forward again. Concedes weight to a few of his main dangers but is going too good to leave off the top. DEEPFLOAT DIVA (10) was better last time here without causing any real threat. At his top now and gets significant weight off. Finally draws a gate and if he brings his A-game he can knock off the fav. WINNING REVOLUTION (4) is a tricky one to catch. Doesn't win out of turn but possesses a strong turn of foot on his day. If they overdo it in front he can pounce on them late. VOLCANIC EXPRESS (2) was strong through the line when resuming off 399 days at Murray Bridge two weeks ago. Always cautious second-up off such a long break but he deserves safe keeping. SUPER ALANA (6) hasn't been as effective of late but is a speedy mare that can give plenty of cheek if left alone.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Playing Deepfloat Diva.
5 01:57 Sportsbet David Peacock Oaklands Plate 1400m
Solid tempo with Tweeter going forward from the good gate. BREVITAS (6) put it all together third-up when launching late to arrive just in time at Murray Bridge. Is open to further improvement and is drawn kinder. Can make it two on the bounce. ADAKITE (10) was a big improver in her second outing when flashing home from last to earn a minor cheque. Drawn much kinder this time and is open to further improvement. Not taking lightly. LALOR (1) ducked back to the inside for clear running when going to the line with Brevitas last time. Fitter second-up and there's no reason he can't turn the tables. MOUNTJOY (5) lengthened nicely in the lane at Swan Hill to pounce on her rivals and score. Will likely drift back a long way from the outside draw and be saved for the final shot at them. BREWSTER BUCK (2) should be nearing his peak at start three and has been kept up to the mark with a trial three weeks between runs. Can fill a minor spot.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Adakite each-way.
6 02:37 SAJC Membership Now Open Handicap 1300m
Pace strong with Undisputable and Davida leading with Oak Park Maddison nearby. ROYAL SWAY (2) has gone from strength-to-strength each run this time in and finds another good race to keep the ball rolling. Drawn sticky but gets an important 3kg claim. Big chance to bring up the hat-trick. UNDISPUTABLE (5) was a dominant winner at Moe three back then has run into a smart one in his last two in town back in Vic. Strips rock-hard fit and only needs to hold his form to be fighting out the finish. OAK PARK MADDISON (1) has held her own against tougher company through this prep and doesn't know how to run a bad race. Gets in well with the 3kg claimer engaged and deserves respect. DAVIDA (3) dropped out quickly first-up at Sandown-Hillside when clearly going amiss. Can improve sharply with that run out of the way and should look to spear across from the wide alley to lead. Can give a sight. MISS SGHIRRIPA (10) is doing enough to play a role as well.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Royal Sway can win again.
7 03:12 Sportsbet Green Tick Handicap 1250m
Looks a keen contest with See Ya Later Baby and Anotherhouse pressing for the lead with Prodigal Lad and Act Natural close at hand. Open race but RICHE D'AMOUR (7) has turned in three cracking run this campaign and deserves to break through. Went back when drew off the track and flashed home two back then wound up strongly and was runner-up latest. Course and distance winner who looks tough to stop. SEE YA LATER BABY (2) is hard to fault winning last three, the latest leading throughout here. More weight but in great form and will take catching again. EMBELLISHER (11) got home well fresh to place in the same race as Riche D'Amour latest. Fitter and expected to run well again. EXTRA HOT (12) came from well back on the turn to score last time out over 1200m at Murray Bridge. Another bold showing is expected. HALLIWELL (3) is going better than form suggests, the latest at Caulfield. Well placed here and should be ready to fire.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Rich D'Armour gets chance.
8 03:50 Fleurieu Milk Company Handicap 1000m
Hot pace certain with Zatanna, So Polite and Bardigrub keen to take up the running. TOBIKKO (2) is a progressive galloper who was solid fresh then missed the frame but beaten only half a length last time. Drawn for a soft run behind a hot pace and with a good turn of foot gets chance to score. BARDIGRUB (4) ran on hard to finish runner-up here fresh, beaten just a head. Tricky gate but nice return and will give a sight. REINE OF NINE (14) charged home to finish a close-up sixth here last time behind So Polite. Better off at the weights and gets chance to turn the tables. SO POLITE (9) was a course and distance winner latest when leading throughout in heavy ground. Expected to take running down again.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Tobikko.
9 04:30 Festival Hire Handicap 1400m
Genuine tempo with Kikorangi leading the way. TORRITA (15) is a lightly raced mare who was a dominant maiden winner before a break. Returned with an eye-catching run, getting back to last from the wide gate before charging home when the race was over. Looks well placed here with the run under the belt and can measure up. SWYCHO (12) was safely held over a mile on the main track last time but saves best for this circuit, with a win and three minors from four tries. Beaten a head here two back and gets chance to atone. ANNIHILATE (4) was placed in a BM70 two back then seventh but only two lengths away here last time. Rarely far away and is one of the leading chances. BOLD SECRET (8) was off the mark with a big maiden win over the border at Geelong. This tougher and wide gate to overcome but has good upside and expected to measure up. ATTAIN (1) is going better than form suggests and is worth including.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Torrita.
