GUNDAGAI DISTRICT SERVICES CLUB MAIDEN PLATE 1180m
Solid tempo with Larkin possessing enough dash to find the front. SECOND WITNESS (7) is a five-start maiden who finished seventh at her most recent outing over 1080m at Canberra Acton after she was well back on straightening. Among the top chances in what looks a more suitable race. CASCATA SPRITZ (5) finished fifth last start over 1000m at Wangaratta, an improvement on her sixth on debut at Donald the run before. Finds a suitable assignment and can turn things around. STAR ROYAL (8) resumes. Drawn out when a disappointing ninth over 1170m at Wangaratta at the latest appearance on December 22. Fitter for two trials, placing most recently. Sure to be competitive. BLACKBIRD (4) went forward last time but couldn't quicken in the run home and finished ninth over 1400m at Wagga. Finds the right race and is worth consideration. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 7,5,8,4. |

TAB WE'RE ON BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1700m
Expecting a strong gallop with Sunroe and Carry On Lizzy taking up the running over Bold Tyrant. BEACHED AS BRO (6) was comfortably accounted for when fifth last time out over 1600m at Narrandera. That followed a win at Wagga Riverside at the previous outing. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. CARRY ON LIZZY (10) turned things around last start and landed the prize over 1600m at Narrandera. No reason she cannot salute again. BOMERTON (2) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time when second over 1600m at Narrandera. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. EVOKES (1) finished seventh last time over 1650m at Moruya in a disappointing performance. Nicely placed to make amends. SUGGESTED PLAY: Beached As Bro and Carry On Lizzy can fight it out. |

GUNDAGAI TIGERS MAIDEN HANDICAP 1000m
Strong tempo from Eighteen Months, Reds Express and Aerial Artist. EIGHTEEN MONTHS (3) is a six-start maiden who finished seventh at his most recent appearance over 1000m at Donald. In new yard and is among the top chances in what looks a suitable race. BELLA KATELYN (2) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second last time out over 1000m at Narrandera. Likely improver with strong prospects. AQUILINO (5) missed the frame when resuming last start over 1010m at Moruya but wasn't all that far from the winner. Expected to feature in the finish. FERVI (9) finished tenth at her last appearance over 1107m at Kilmore on June 1. Has a host of gear changes for this and gets one more chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Eighteen Months in a tight contest. |

GUNDAGAI COMMUNITY RACE DAY SPRINT BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1000m
Keen speed battle, with Bold Tee, Insane Volt and Densetsu prominent. TEA OR COFFEE (6) saluted at Queanbeyan two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when prominent at the bend before finishing fourth over 1400m at Corowa. Finds a suitable assignment and can return to winning ways with the claim. TERESPRIT (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she settled well back over 1200m at Narrandera, beaten 6 lengths into seventh. Suitably placed and anticipating a big run this time. ANTHRACIA (3) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when sixth over 1010m at Moruya. Cherry-ripe now and can find peak form this time. DENSETSU (2) finished seventh over 1100m at Bendigo last time out after a gutsy win two runs back. Has the speed to overcome the draw. Not to be discounted. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tea Or Coffee can return to form from the low gate. |

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE HOOPER CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1100m
Speed should be right on over the 1100m journey. I SHOW SPEED (1) raced on the pace last start before fading to finish seventh over 1200m at Moruya. Can bounce back. SIMONE'S CHOICE (9) finished out of the money two starts back then she settled well back and was beaten seventh over 1000m at Narrandera two weeks ago. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BIFURCATION (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was never in contention finishing fourth over 1000m at Albury. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. DO YA HEAD IN (3) was safely held when ninth last start over 1200m at Goulburn, after a good first-up win at Queanbeyan. In the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 1,9,2,3. |

SOUNDS OF THE MOUNTAIN FM96.3 BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1400m
Sweet And Sour to take charge ahead of Dubai Fountain at a strong tempo. ROULLOTTIE (12) pushed forward from a wide draw last start and kept going to win by 2.25 lengths over 1400m at Narrandera. One of the top chances again. SUNDAY (2) is a distance specialist who finished out of the money two starts back then ran fourth over 1450m at Muswellbrook two weeks ago after being in contention on the turn. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. DUBAI FOUNTAIN (7) finished sixth last time out over 1400m at Bendigo, beaten 1.75 lengths. Deserves serious consideration from the better gate. SECTORS (11) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start the seventh over 1400m at Narrandera. Better than recent efforts suggest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 12,2,7,11. |
