Genuine tempo with the speedy Rock Revolution leading the way. Good race with several chances but if CRAZY TOWN (7) presents on song he will be tough to beat. Former Victorian with upside but is a winner at 1400m and a mile from five runs. Comes here for the new yard off a let-up but trialled last month in Victoria. Trip suits and with early pace looks well suited here off the low draw and with the claim. Expected to measure up. MAXXI BON (4) is yet to win in Darwin but has been close to breaking through. Was midfield in the far rover Alice Springs Cup three back then not beaten far in two runs since. The mile suits now and gets a chance to find form. ROCK REVOLUTION (5) goes well over this course and distance and will take catching. ICHIBAN (1) is long overdue and looks a strong top-three hope. VANGUARD LEGEND (2) will find this far easier than the Alice Springs Cup and can atone. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Crazy Town fresh. |

Cracking tempo looks assured with many of these capable of pushing on early. Plenty of win chances. DYNAMIC THEORY (2) is going well and steps out over a little further this time. Will likely lead off the inside draw and expected to take catching. STOMP'EM (4) was narrowly beaten last start over 1200m at Alice Springs at the first run of the campaign. Fitter and expecting a strong run. MIAMI BABY (6) is back after a break of 12 weeks. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1200m here. Expect him to play a major role. RAMPAZETTO (1) is a former Victorian making debut for the new yard in this area. Best form stacks up. MODS (3) fought on for third last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 6 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Overdue and among the main hopes. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dynamic Theory to take catching. |

Solid tempo likely from Miss Boom and Dolce D'amour. DOLCE D'AMOUR (3) is having her first try in Darwin but has been freshened since a win in Alice Springs. Has good early speed and is expected to take running down. MISS BOOM (6) is also in great form and a last start Alice Springs winner. Has a tricky draw to overcome but expected to go close again. NO I'M NOT (8) is better than recent form and has been kept fresh since last run here. Is a course and distance winner. Aided by the claim and will be winding up late. VILLA ROYALE (2) is better than last run and worth another try. STARLITE REBEL (5) is working up to a win. Expected to be in the finish again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stay with Dolce D'Amour. |

SBA Office National Handicap 1200m
Dad Bod, Runaway Tycoon and Time To Baca all possess good speed. Very good race with a host of win chances. Liked the win of DAD BOD (4) last time though, who had to be gassed early to cross from a wide gate, sat outside the pace and just kept finding to score here by two lengths. Drawn ideally this time and gets a chance at some cover. Worth following up. ROMANTIC LOVE (6) was also a strong last start winner. First run for the new yard and scored a four-length win here in slightly easier grade. Tougher gate but looks a top chance again. RUNAWAY TYCOON (1) placed fresh then also scored a big win when second-up. Fitter again and can go on with it. YOUR NOT THE BOSS (9) is a former NSW galloper having first try this area and has won fresh. Watch the market closely. BRAZEN BON (2) has placed both runs this time in and looks ready to show best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stick with Dad Bod. |

Expecting a strong pace from the outset with plenty of speed engaged. Small field and wouldn't rule any out. LUCKY FORTUNA (3) has been freshened since a fast finishing 1200m win in Alice last time. Has a strong record here though and will be tough to stop late. WILD BEAU (1) has raced in Adelaide at two runs this time in but returns to Darwin and the Clarke yard and boasts a top record here. Expected to improve out of sight. CAP TEN (5) is racing well and has been freshened since winning in Alice last time. Placed only try course and distance. JUMPING POWER TWO (4) was safely held fresh but strip fitter and is unbeaten from two tries course and distance so also looks a sharp improver. REAL VALENTIA (2) will be winding up late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Lucky Fortuna. |

They look to roll along early with Dynasty Reward and Easy Red leading the charge. EASY RED (2) is a former Victorian who has placed four of four starts. First run for the new yard and on that form will go close debut this area. FABRES (3) was a well-held third here fresh but strips fitter and is worth following up over the extra ground. MEET ME AT THE BAR (5) made his debut in this area with a second in the same race. Like Fabres, he will be much better for the first experience on the dirt and expected to be in the mix again. DYNASTY REWARD (1) was solid fresh and looks a top-three contender. TENACIOUS ZEUS (6) was placed here fresh then fourth and just behind Dynasty Reward in the same race. Major player on best form. SUGGESTED PLAY: Easy Red gets chance. |

Pace strong with Vega Magnifico and Dakota Lee leading with Magic Defense nearby. Terrific race with a host of win chances but giving the top mare DAKOTA LEE (1) another chance despite the big weight. Kept coming and finished a head away in third here last time in yet another top run. Drawn well and will be in the finish again. WATADEEL (4) comes here off a let-up since finishing sixth in Group 3 company at Morphettville over their carnival. Has a big finish and will wind up late. ZONDEE (8) is also having his first look at Darwin being a former Queenslander having first run for the new yard. Expected to measure up. STORMFRONT (10) has a great record here and will be tough to stop fresh. CROWN WATERS (12) was too strong fresh beating Dakota Lee and expected to feature despite the tough draw. Couldn't find a place for the Alice Springs Cup winner and good mare Magic Defence. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dakota Lee can atone. |
