Sky Racing QTISx Three-Years-Old Handicap ** Weights Raised 1.5kg** 1200m
Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Propaganda. SWORD OF LEGACY (2) ran out of her skin two back over 1110m at Doomben, overcoming an awkward start to flash home and miss by under a length. Struggled here at this trip last start in Listed company. Less depth to today's race so a return to form appears likely. METAL MAN (8) gave away a big start on the turn then stormed home to miss in the three-way photo first-up over 1000m at the Gold Coast. Up in class but strips fitter and needs the extra 200m. One to watch for late in proceedings. LA BELLA BOOM (6) finally struck form at her latest appearance, working home well to get up for second over 1000m at the Sunshine Coast. Blinkers on for the first time suggests she is ready to find peak form. PROPAGANDA (11) returned from a five-month spell with an effortless win over 1110m at Toowoomba a fortnight ago. Big step up today but he has only raced three times so there is plenty of scope for improvement. GRINZINGER CHAMP (10) resumes for new trainer Jack Bruce. Betting the key indicator. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sword Of Legacy to score. |

Ladbrokes Mega Multi BM85 Handicap 1200m
Town Crier and Now Is The Hour should set a strong tempo. YOSHINOBU (15) returns after a four-month spell. Caught the eye first-up in a $250k Magic Millions race at the Gold Coast to launch the last prep but didn't train on. Won a recent trial at Scone by six lengths so he is clearly in good shape. Finds a pretty soft race to kick things off. CASPERNOVA (10) has been thereabouts without threatening in his three runs this time in work. Made late ground to finish midfield in a similar race here three weeks ago. Distance specialist who can return to form without surprising. ISTOLEA MERC (13) charged home to win impressively first-up over 1100m at Canterbury. Should hold that form in what looks an easier assignment. TOWN CRIER (5) led for home only to be gunned down by subsequent winner Soothsayer here at this trip recently. Ready to peak at the third run back from a spell. NAVYONTHEHIGHWAY (4) has been freshened up and is better placed back in Benchmark company. SUGGESTED PLAY: Yoshinobu looks ready to win first-up. |

TATTERSALL'S STAKES (2YO) - LISTED 1400m
From the wide draw Wootton You Know can cross and set the tempo in a race without genuine pace.
The top hopes went around in the Listed Oxlade over 1200m here a fortnight ago. The winner was COOL GENT (2) who saw them all on straightening before letting down with an electrifying finish. Progressive two-year-old who should have the measure of those rivals again over an extra 200m today. MARFFIANO (1) also finished off nicely in the Oxlade, grabbing second but no match for the winner. Might race a bit closer with blinkers on for the first time today. Looks the best chance to turn the tables. HARD TO EXCEED (5) went very wide on the turn and didn't quite finish off as hoped behind Cool Gent two weeks back. That was his first run in 101 days so expect a bit more this time. SAY YOU WILL (11) picked up impressively in the closing stages to finish fourth in the Oxlade. Decent chance over the longer trip. PEARL OF DUBAI (9) has been up for a while but continues to race well and looks in need of 1400m. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Cool Gent. |

LADBROKES 2026 BATTLE OF THE BUSH FINAL Quality Hcp 1200m
A hot tempo is expected with plenty of speed engaged.
This race is a lottery as is the case most years. MILTON ROAD (12) gets the verdict after back-to-back wins to kick off this prep, the latest under 61.5kgs over this distance at Nanango. Freshened up and drops a whopping 9kgs today. Just needs luck from a sticky draw to play a major role. Veteran KING JESTER (10) raced handy all the way and did a good job to be beaten under a length over 1000m at Toowoomba last time out. That form looks strong in this race. Well in on 54kgs and should give backers a great sight. ESTE DIA (9) added to his outstanding recent form when a comfortable all-the-way winner of an open sprint at Emerald six weeks ago. Drawn to advantage and should be prominent for a long way. The speedy SUNNYCOAST (3) has been carrying big weights up north to great effect this prep. Loves this trip and with blinkers back on looks a key contender. SMACKEROONY (16) needs luck from the outside draw but his recent win at Gympie was highly impressive. SUGGESTED PLAY: Milton Road each-way. |

TATTERSALL'S GOLD CROWN (FILLIES & MARES) (3YO&UP) (SW&P) - LISTED 2100m
Pace looks sure to be genuine with Hyperbolic and Zuleika matching motors, closely followed by Extraordinaire.
PINITO (1) settled a long way back and couldn't get involved last start over 1600m at this track. Looked a bit flat that day so an extra 500m might be what she needs. Three-time stakes winner who has the class to take care of this line-up. HYPERBOLIC (3) found the line well to get up for third in the same race as Pinito here a fortnight ago. Genuine mare who is going better than most of these, although she is yet to be tried beyond the mile. WALSH BAY (2) travelled back in the field and made no impression in the 2400m Premier's Cup last time out. Handy mare who will appreciate this drop in grade. Can find form without surprising. GEEMES (6) made steady ground without threatening when fresh from a spell over the Randwick mile recently. Has a fine second-up record so she can improve enough to play a significant role. SUN WORSHIPPER (4) was very good in the Ipswich Cup last weekend and is a chance if that run has not flattened her. SUGGESTED PLAY: Giving Pinito another chance. |

TATTERSALL'S CUP (3YO & UP) (SW&P) - GROUP 3 2400m
Future History should spear straight to the front of the small field.
ASTERIX (1) will appreciate the drop in grade after being well held in his last couple. Came from near last to win the Gosford Cup over 2100m three back which is probably the most reliable recent form reference. Has won two from four at this trip and is in the right race to add to that record. FUTURE HISTORY (2) gave up an early lead then came again to just miss in a driving finish over 1800m at Eagle Farm last start. Cherry ripe after a couple of runs back from a spell and is looking for this sort of journey now. FAWKNER PARK (3) has had two runs over the mile in Listed company this prep and not made an impact. Scored at his only other try over 2400m. Three-time Group One placegetter who finds the right race to return to form. ETNA ROSSO (4) loomed up on the corner in the Brisbane Cup last start but was gone a stride later. Struggling for form but this looks a more suitable assignment. POUNDING (5) surprised most in the Q22 last time. Big chance if that wasn't a fluke. SUGGESTED PLAY: Asterix to win. |

TATTERSALL'S MILE - LISTED 1600m
Moderate pace only with Kronenbourg leading War Eternal. SUN GOD (2) stoked up late but just failed to pick up the in-form War Eternal in the 1500m Spear Chief here recently. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and his mile form is very good. Big chance with Nash taking over. ROTAGILLA (9) was shuffled back mid-race then came again to finish third last start over 1810m at this track. Gets some nice weight relief today and won't mind coming back in trip. WAR ETERNAL (1) chalked up the hat trick of stakes wins last time, beating a few of today's key rivals. Races handy and makes his own luck. Maybe 60.5kgs will stop him. PASIMA (10) opened this prep with a couple of eye-catching runs over 1400m then struggled in heavy going in the Listed Wayne Wilson last start. Drops 5kgs and draws a far better gate today. Each-way at massive odds. CRANKY HARRY (12) was there to strike when they straightened in the 1500m Spear Chief here last start but he failed to run on as expected. Awkward gate doesn't help but can sneak into the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sun God to win with a spec bet on Pasima. |

TATTERSALL'S TIARA (FILLIES & MARES) (WFA) - GROUP 1 1400m
Midnight In Tokyo, Poster Girl and Manaal to push forward and set a good tempo.
This is not a vintage renewal of the Tatts Tiara which gives TUILERIES (4) a great chance to win at the elite level. Put aside and kept fresh for this after a barnstorming win in the Group 3 Dark Jewel over this distance at Scone seven weeks ago. Can travel closer from a much better draw today. Clearly the one to beat. The only G1 winner in the field is MANAAL (3) who returned with a handy third in the Gr 2 Moreton Cup over 1200m here three weeks ago. Boasts three wins from five when second-up and 1400m is her pet trip. Has the perfect profile. WITHIN THE LAW (17) started favourite but was no match for Skyhook in the Gunsynd over the mile here recently. Worth another chance back to this trip with the blinkers going on. ABOUNDING (2) defeated the boys over 1350m at Doomben two back then was outclassed in the Stradbroke. Each-way claims at big odds. SPLASH BACK (1) hasn't been disgraced against the elite sprinters at her last two. Nicely placed at WFA. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tuileries to win. |

EUREKA STUD W.J. HEALY STAKES - GROUP 3 1200m
Moravia has good gate speed and can overcome the wide alley to lead.
OAK HILL (6) dramatically returned to form last start in the Group 2 Moreton Cup over this course and distance, charging home late to just miss the upset win. Back a level today and with a repeat of that last run he is the one they have to beat. FIRE STAR (13) raced handy and refused to lie down last time out, beaten under a length in the Listed Hinkler here at 1200m. Should be peaking third-up and makes plenty of appeal down in the weights. GIVEMETHEBEATBOYS (7) showed pace but couldn't do it at both ends in the 1000m Lightning here three weeks ago. Gets some weight relief today and the shades go on so he might be a surprise packet. HIDDEN WEALTH (3) led but couldn't keep going in the Moreton Cup last start, just missing the placings. Has a fine record here at the trip so shouldn't be taken lightly. MIDNIGHT IN TOKYO (8) was back in form in the Hinkler here last start. Tidy mare who can hold that form at just the fourth run of the campaign. SUGGESTED PLAY: Oak Hill to win the last. |
