NUM TIME COMMENT
1 09:55 Maiden Race 1800m
GEISTREICH (6) raced on the pace last start and lifted strongly to hold second, beaten a neck, over today's journey at Chukyo Dirt. Too good to be a maiden and should shed the tag today. BAKERATTA (11) took advantage of the good draw when resuming from a spell last start and led for much of the way before finishing second, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Back in fine fettle and will take catching again. SESTINA (5) is back from a spell of eight months. Debuted with a third, beaten 4 lengths, over 1700m at Sapporo Dirt at his only appearance to date. Everything points to a big run. GATEAU (9) is back from a spell of ten weeks. Debuted with a third, beaten 6 lengths, over 1800m at this track at his only run. Sure to measure up.
2 10:25 Maiden Race 1400m
PEPTIDE LEON (3) finished third, beaten 5.5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt. Yet to run a poor race in four career starts. Likely improver with bright prospects. NAMURA RODIN (15) met with solid support last start over 1200m at Hanshin Dirt when third, beaten 4.5 lengths. Draws out a bit but is worth another chance. MOZU PLUS FORT (11) last raced just six days ago when fifth over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt. The quick back-up is a positive sign from the stable. Capable of putting together a much better run. LIFE IS COLORFUL (10) finished 9 lengths away in fifth after being in the firing line on the bend at his last appearance over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt on April 11. Finds a suitable assignment this time and can improve.
3 10:55 Maiden Race 1800m
HAYABUSA SAKICHAN (12) found the line nicely last start to get up for third over 1600m at Hanshin when returning from a break. Yet to miss the placings in four career runs. Sure to go well again. BELONG TO ME (8) has been in the money at both runs this time in, the latest effort a third over 1600m at Chukyo. Should appreciate the extra ground. Good chance to break through. GEFION (11) resumes from a spell of four months. Could only manage to finish seventh at the latest run over 1800m at Hanshin. Leading player on best figures - bold showing expected. ROUGE SOMNIUM (3) is a two-start maiden who returned last time and finished fifth at Hanshin over 1600m, beaten 3.5 lengths. Progressive type who can figure in the finish with added fitness this time.
4 11:25 Open Class Race 3170m
HAWKFIELD (7) won two back in a steeplechase (2860m) at Kokura then couldn't repeat the dose last time but wasn't disgraced when he finished fourth in a steeplechase (3200m) at Nakayama, beaten 4 lengths. If at his best he will be too strong for this field. MATENRO JOY (11) is looking to improve on a last-start ninth in a G3 steeplechase (3170m) at this track on November 8. Looms as a serious contender dropping back to an easier contest. ALMAZA AMIR (5) returned from a layoff last time out in a steeplechase (2860m) at Kokura, finishing fifth when partnered by today's rider Kayata Komaki. Capable of much more this time. KEITEN AIJIN (6) was unplaced the start before last in a maiden steeplechase (2860m) at Kokura. Made amends last time when he saluted in a maiden steeplechase (2970m) at Hanshin. Must be included.
5 12:15 Maiden Race 2200m
VIP WOLF (9) kept coming but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a spell last start over 2200m at Nakayama. Will strip a lot fitter this time around. Nicely placed to play a major role. COSMO FIRENZE (1) finished fourth when first-up from a spell last start over 2000m at Hanshin after racing on the pace for much of the way. Will take some beating. FUSEN (5) is a three-start maiden who could only manage to finish fourth at his latest appearance over 1800m at Hanshin. Cannot be ruled out in this suitable assignment. ELNATH (2) is a five-start maiden who resumed from a spell last start and was beaten 7 lengths when fifth over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Should progress from that last outing and poses a genuine threat.
6 12:45 Maiden Race 1600m
Little between the top five or six chances. LANCE OF HERO (1) is a three-start maiden who returned last time and finished fifth at Hanshin over 1800m, beaten 3 lengths. Plenty of scope for improvement and this presents a great chance to break through. BRANCH OUT (12) is yet to break through after six starts. Placed two back then last time out was fifth, beaten just 1.75 lengths, over 1400m at Hanshin. The blinkers go on. Well placed to break the ice. TOKAI SIEG (14) was at long odds on debut last time out and finished sixth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 1400m at Chukyo. Expected to feature with improvement to come. CHUWA MELODY (8) finished tenth at this track and distance at his last appearance three-and-a-half months ago. Can make his presence felt while fresh.
7 01:15 Allowance Race 1800m
JUN DORADORA (6) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 7 lengths over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Takes on a deeper line-up this time but on that form he is the chief contender again. LORD AMALFI (3) accounted for a maiden field over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt last start, finishing a head ahead of the nearest rival. Re-unites with Seinosuke Yoshimura who was on board last start. Sure to prove tough to beat again with that win now under his belt. KIRIOS (7) showed good early speed and raced on the pace when first-up after a spell last start before fading to finish 11th, beaten 17 lengths, over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Fitter and can improve considerably. BLACK LEGEND (2) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 1700m at Kokura Dirt, beaten 9 lengths, after a win at the same track at the previous outing. In contention this time.
8 01:45 AYAME SHO 1800m
BULLET PASS (2) recorded his maiden win three back and is ready to score again after a couple of recent minor placings, the latest when second at Nakayama. Expected to be too classy for this small field. KISHIDANCHO (3) was well supported when resuming last start but missed the placings over 2400m at Hanshin. Better for that hit-out and is sure to measure up. LA LA FACULTE (5) accounted for a maiden field over 1600m at Hanshin last start when fresh from a break. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. This is tougher but he cannot be underestimated. BLACK SHALIMAR (4) looks to launch this prep the way he ended the last ten weeks ago when he scored over 1800m at this track. Best figures have him right in the mix.
9 02:15 Allowance Race 1400m
CORDON BLEU (6) resumed last time out and finished third over 1400m at Hanshin, beaten 1.5 lengths, after coming from worse than midfield on the turn. Stakes placed last prep so she has a touch of class. Looms large in this company. MEISHO SACHIDAKE (1) was in the firing line on the corner and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1400m at Hanshin after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Coming along nicely so expect another big run. SALUEZ (4) finished seventh over 1600m at Chukyo at his most recent appearance on December 6. At his best over 1400m so he can make his presence felt. MONTALCINO (2) is back after a break of six-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1400m at Chukyo. Worth plenty of thought.
10 02:50 KANGETSUKYO STAKES 1800m
DEL AVAR (1) turned in a eye-catching run when resuming last start over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt, winding up hard from well back on straightening to finish a close third. May settle a bit closer from the inside draw. Looks sure to feature again. TAGANO MAKASIH YA (9) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just half a length from the winner in second over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt after being in the firing line on the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. PATIENT SIEN (10) finished third at this track and distance at his last appearance three-and-a-half months ago. Worth plenty of thought. PENNA VELOCE (3) improved last time out, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in third over 2000m at Hanshin Dirt. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
11 03:30 TENNOZAN STAKES 1200m
DON AMITIE (11) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on February 14, finishing seventh and beaten 9 lengths over 1200m in the Riyadh Dirt Sprint. Grade 3 placegetter so he has a class edge on these. Capable of playing a major role. GETTY VILLA (10) changes rider since being well held last time in seventh over 1200m at Hanshin Dirt on February 22. Has raced at this track three times for three wins, two of them over this distance. Can bounce back. FEMME ELEGANTE (12) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 15th over 1200m at this track on February 10 which was the only run of that prep. Has three wins to her name when fresh from a spell. One of the main contenders. MEISHO HOREN (5) finished 9 lengths behind the winner in 12th place when resuming over 1200m last start at Nakayama Dirt. Generally goes well with that run under the belt. Likely improver.
12 04:10 Allowance Race 1600m
FAIRYLIKE (2) lines up on the back of a one length fourth over 1800m at Hanshin where she came from last on the turn in an eye-catching effort. Back in trip but she has the right credentials to win a race of this calibre. HO O TRUMP (1) jumped from wide out and missed the placings last time when fifth at Hanshin. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Sure to be in the finish. OLIBANUM (5) returns from a spell. Finished seventh at this track and distance at her only appearance last prep three-and-a-half months ago. Should be prominent from the outset and is one of the main contenders. LICANTROPO (11) ran fourth at his latest appearance over 1600m at Hanshin, clocking in just 0.9 lengths from the winner. Has sound form here including a win and two minor placings. Definite claims.
