Easy CarWash Maiden Plate 1200m
Solid tempo with Dynasty Reward leading from Price Share and Saxon Beach. SAXON BEACH (5) is a 19-start maiden with 11 minors including 4/5 here. Placed only try this course and distance. Has the ability and is suited by the extra ground. Overdue and gets a chance. PRICE SHARE (7) is lining up for just his third start, placing on debut then raced out of grade and was well held. Back to a maiden and a big chance to make amends. BENDER MCGEE (1) was placed over 1000m fresh then was safely held to 1400m here a week ago. Quick back-up but sharper trip suits and worth another try. DYNASTY REWARD (3) is long overdue and will be thereabouts again. DENUTO (2) has ability and must be included. SUGGESTED PLAY: Giving Saxon Beach another try. |

The Veterans Cup 1200m
Solid tempo with several going forward headed by The Final Word. DELAGO LAD (4) was a dominant winner last time over 1100m at this track, getting home by 2.25 lengths. Has won two of last three and although a seasoned sprinter is in top form. Should be poised just off the lead. Will prove tough to beat. LIMITED RISK (6) closed off strongly last start to get up for third, beaten 1.2 lengths, over 1200m at this track. Ready to win and gets chance. CONVINCEBILITY (3) has been racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Darwin over 1100m. Speedy galloper overdue for a win and will take catching. BEYOND READY (1) ran a better race when second-up last start, finishing 4 lengths away in fourth over 1200m at this track. Goes well course and distance and will be winding up late. THE FINAL WORD (8) has a low draw and is expected to take catching. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stick with Delago Lad. |

Darwin Horse Floats Handicap 1100m
Expecting Miss Boom to take up the running with Revolution Rising and Splish Splash close at hand. MISS BOOM (7) is a former South Australian galloper making debut for a new yard in this area. Has brilliant early speed and looks well placed in this line-up. Can hit the ground running. PUB CRAWL (1) scored a barnstorming win last start over 1100m at this track, coming from the tail to get up by a long neck. Drawn for a soft run and will be winding up late. Expected to feature. REVOLUTION RISING (2) raced on the pace to the bend before fading to finish eighth over this journey at this track. Reunites with Danielle Hirini who has a win when partnering. Strips fitter and worth another chance. PRIVATE TENDER (4) is a former NSW galloper having first run for a new yard. Goes well fresh and must be kept very safe. BOSS SHELBY (3) ran a fair fourth last time out over 1000m at this track, beaten 3 lengths, after a win the start prior. The 1100m is the concern but has the ability. SUGGESTED PLAY: Chancing Miss Boom. |

Ladbrokes Punter Assist Handicap 1100m
Hot tempo expected with Scissor Me Timbers, Black Zous and River Frost heading the charge. BLACK ZOUS (1) was on speed and fought on well to continue a string of top three finishes, placing both since a win three back. Back in grade for this and aided by the claim. Deserves another win. IN NO DOUBT (6) was game in defeat with an on speed close second over 1100m here last time. Expected to be in the finish again. RIVER FROST (5) started this preparation with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when ninth over 1200m at this track, beaten 10 lengths. That was well off best and worth another chance. REAL VALENTIA (2) showed good early speed from the inside draw last time and stalked the lead before going on to record a half a length win. Has won three of last four and will take catching again. CAP TEN (8) wound up strongly in tougher grade last time and worth following up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Black Zous gets chance. |

CKS Electrical and Air Conditioning Handicap 1100m
A hot tempo is expected with plenty of speed engaged. OUR SQUAMOSA (1) is one of only two in the race to have won a race and looks the one to beat. Was strong fresh when runner-up and did win only try second-up. Expected to go close. STANDARD STREET (4) was runner-up fresh then failed to run out to 1400m last time. Back in trip and back in grade. Worth another chance. VORONYA (5) is a three-start maiden from Victoria formerly with the Hayes barn. First try for the new yard and could well measure up. Keep very safe. HIGHSTRUNG (6) has racked up several minors from is still a maiden. Back in trip, on the quick back-up and back in grade. Can improve sharply. Same goes for ASHEN GLOW (7) who comes through the same race over a mile and can do better here. SUGGESTED PLAY: Our Squamosa on top. |

Dreamedia Handicap 1400m
Solid tempo expected primarily from Mummsie and Hebel. Toughest race of the day with plenty of win chances. LUCKY FORTUNA (6) wound up strongly and placed behind Mr Jones in a similar race last time. Meets the winner better at the weights by a couple of kilos and can turn the tables. Overdue and will go close. MR JONES (7) broke through here last time at the trip. Rises 2kg in the weights but in form and expected to run well. VALLEY PRINCE (8) placed three on end before breaking through last time. Aided by the claim and will take catching again. DOLCE D'AMOUR (9) is super consistent and looks set for another big run. Not far from Mr Jones latest and can turn the tables. DANIHER (2) strips fitter and expected to figure prominently. Has placed 3/4 second-up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lucky Fortuna hard to hold out. |

Red Centre Technology Partners Chief Ministers Cup 1600m
Anticipating a solid tempo over the mile. Tricky race. Hinges on the talented WOLFBURN (6) who has been well held in three runs over far sharper journeys. Finally gets to a trip he can win at and expected to improve sharply now in the right range. VENTING (5) beat a few of these last time when scoring over a mile. Meets the placegetters worse at the weights but fitter again, is a third-up winner and will be on speed and tough to beat again. OUR COUVER (3) is fitter for two runs back and placed behind Venting latest. Meets him much better at weights and should be at top now. ACTIVE DUTY (1) was runner-up in the same race and also meets the winner better. Super consistent and should be fighting out the finish. OKESUTORA (2) is having first run for new yard and looks a major player on best figures. SUGGESTED PLAY: Expecting a return to form for Wolfburn. |
