Abundant pace from Texas Terrier, Tiger Paw and Gluttony vying for the lead with Boulevard Boy on their backs. ELLES MY NAME (8) improved last start but found one better over 1400m at Gatton, beaten 2 lengths. Perfectly placed and is sure to be there at the finish. JAKEBRAKE (4) was never in contention last time over 1200m at Gold Coast when he finished ninth. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. MADAM GRISELDA (10) settled well back then made a little ground and finished sixth last time out over 1200m at Doomben three-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in distance today. Backmarker who gets home hard. Capable of a big run. HOLLER DASH (9) made progress last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in third over 1400m at Gatton. Looks to be in the right race so expect another big run. GLUTTONY (3) don't underestimate. SUGGESTED PLAY: Elles My Name can get the win. |

PHOENIX ENERGY BENCHMARK 60 Handicap 1200m
Pace looks genuine from Yes I'm Ugly, Zarippa and Acedrod, closely attended by Mr Wandji. GALEKA (4) was thereabouts last time out when second at Gold Coast over 1400m, beaten a neck. Comes down a level this time. Will be hard to stop. TOUCH OF GRACIE (5) tackled a 1200m race at Ipswich when fresh from a spell last start and finished tenth. Better for that run so she is one of the leading contenders. HORRIBLE HANK (1) did a good job last start to finish second at Thangool over 1200m, beaten 1.5 lengths. Has been in solid form this campaign with three wins to his name. One of the main contenders. MR WANDJI (3) continued the good recent form when he finished just 1.2 lengths away in third last time out over 1400m at this track. Nathan Fazackerley goes well on this six-year-old and is back on top today. Solid claims on best form. YES I'M UGLY (8) fitter again and drawn the widest but has good speed to overcome the gate, capable of a solid race. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Trifecta 4,5,1,3. |

Talleyrand is the likely leader at a strong tempo. TALLEYRAND (5) debuted two weeks ago when he finished ninth over 1200m at Toowoomba. Much better for that run and can get off the mark this time. OUTDOOR CAT (7) returns from a spell of five months and is having her first run for a new yard. Finished fourth at this track over 1000m when first-up last time in work. Will be forward for this after a recent trial win at Dalby. Expect her to pose a serious challenge. RUN ZIGGY RUN (10) is a three-year-old filly on debut from the stable of Glenn Richardson. By Killy from One In One Out. Trialling in good style and looks forward enough. Expect a bold run. COLINTON (1) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was fourth over 1200m at Kilcoy. Fitter so expect a better run this time. WEATHER (3) looks a genuine hope first-up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 5,7,10,1. |

Easy Come should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest. HEY PUMPKIN (4) was flying with two wins in a row before being sent out favourite last time and finishing fifth over 1000m at Goondiwindi. Should park just off the speed. Can atone. COPPER SUNSET (1) ran sixth at his latest appearance over 860m at Gatton, clocking in 4 lengths from the winner. Among the leading chances. ONE MORE THING (5) finished seventh over 1300m at Dubbo at his most recent appearance on February 2. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Bree Wiblen. Makes plenty of appeal. MY SICADA (6) made progress last start to finish third over 1000m at Nanango. Has his share of talent and is a top-three prospect. EASY COME (11) could show more second up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hey Pumpkin to bounce back to winning form. |

Plenty of pace with Rejoiced and Smart Recognition up front, pressured by Grinzinger Knight and Unleash. KORUTO (3) ran another good race last time when second over 1615m at Doomben, beaten 1.5 lengths. Back in trip and looks a winning chance. KIPTANUI (6) didn't do a bad job when eighth last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths after he made late ground. That followed a win at Taroom the start prior. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. GRINZINGER KNIGHT (2) returns from a spell of seven months. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when eighth over 1625m at Toowoomba. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Capable of testing this field. REJOICED (1) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at this track but couldn't back it up last start when seventh over 1000m at Nanango. Has his share of ability and can do a lot better. TRAPEZE WARRIOR (5) hasn't really produced this campaign but worth consideration today. SUGGESTED PLAY: Koruto on top. |

A strong gallop is likely with Suisse Scandal and Powerful Warrior taking up the running, closely attended by Oystercatcher and Harlequin Field. OYSTERCATCHER (7) progressed nicely last time out to score by one length over 1200m at Kilcoy. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat again. KNOWITALL FRANK (4) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten a neck, over 1400m at Goondiwindi when coming back from a break. Leading player again. TRUSTY BANDIT (9) proved too strong two runs ago at this track. Couldn't follow that up last time out when tenth over 1400m at Rockhampton. Finds a suitable assignment and can return to winning ways. LIFT'N'MEHIGHER (10) is backing up nine days after she was safely held in eighth over 1200m at Ipswich against better opposition. Can make amends. FRED'S MEMORY (2) looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. SUGGESTED PLAY: Oystercatcher to go back-to-back. |
