Command Approved should lead at a strong tempo. Competitive affair to kick off the card. REVALENE (1) looked good saluting over this track and trip last time out and again gets the benefit of a 2kg claimer in the saddle. Will be at peak fitness for this and should be going very close again. WARILLA GORILLA (7) has a solid record around this circuit with two wins and three placings from seven spins. Sure to get a cosy run in transit from gate four and shouldn't be discounted lightly. THUNDERING SOUL (8) returned in fine fashion with a strong Roma win when having the first run for the new stable. Can go back-to-back without surprising. AMENOPHIS (10) resumes here but has revved up for this with a recent trial placing and should be hitting the line with gusto. The well-related COMMAND APPROVED (9) (half to Golden Slipper winner Guest House) best of the rest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Revalene. |

Rejoiced is expected to lead at a strong tempo. THE DEPUTY (4) got a well-deserved victory over this track and trip last time out and will have derived a stack of confidence from that breakthrough win. Gets some weight relief with the 2kg claim and maps nicely for this from gate two. Ticks plenty of boxes for a race like this. BLANTONS RUN (8) has been very competitive in town of late and should find this assignment much more to her liking. Looms as the main danger. DOWNEY (5) was a touch disappointing at the latest effort but the form prior was full of merit. Worth another chance. WOWIT'S WILLYWONKA (11) is a four-time winner around this circuit and is better than recent outings suggest. Looks one for the multiples. BEAU WITNESS (3) strips fitter third-up from the spell and may earn some minor money. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Deputy to win again. |

HEAVENLY LOVE (1) goes well for hoop Savva who has a win and four placings from just seven steers and will be rock-hard fit for this. Strikes a winnable contest here and should be right there when the whips are cracking. FIRE AND LIGHT (2) wasn't disgraced in town last time out and gets some weight off from the favourable draw. Expected to play a major role in the outcome. SAMURAI WARRIOR (3) saves his best form for this track and trip with two wins from as many attempts. Has to be included. O'CALDINO (6) got the job done at Ballina at the latest outing and is sure to have taken some confidence from that victory. In the mix. MOONFLEET (8) next in line from the low draw. A distinct absence of early speed so don't expect any records to be broken. SIKKA (7) was well in the betting at Gatton on debut but just ran into one better on that occasion. Will have taken some benefit from that race day experience and where there's smoke there's fire. Will prove very hard to toss. ZOUSAIN GIRL (17) resumes here but the form she showed when last in work was good enough for a race like this. Can run a big race while fresh. ENTERPRISE GISELLE (9) was okay in town when facing the starter for the first time before being tipped out for further time to furnish. Can feature with natural improvement. TUESDAY (14) is unlucky to still be a maiden hitting the top-four in all four runs this campaign. Top-three credentials. MR DEMOCRAT (3) next in line despite the sticky draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sikka to go one better. |

The penny has dropped for MISTER TUDOR (9) who has two wins and a second from his past three outings with rider Savva being in the stirrups for all three efforts. Racing high on confidence and should be right there at the business end. DRUMS OF WAR (7) will strip fitter second-up from the break and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside marble. Can make his presence felt. I AM A WINNER (3) is improving with racing and looks to be building up to another victory. In the mix with the claim. GITALONG (1) has placed three of three over this sprint journey and is a must for the exotics players. ANOTHER VEUVE (11) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be slept on.
