NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:09 THE LAST POST HANDICAP 1400m
The pace looks even at best given a lack of early speed. LADIES PRO (1) resumed in good order in this grade and continued the impressive start to her career. She was $1.45 there and this doesn't look any harder. She remains with the same weight and the rise in trip suits. She can go back-to-back and stamp her authority. MOONWALK (4) jumped the favourite in a CL1 last start at this track and trip, scoring impressively by 2.3L. Fiore remains in the saddle and while this is tougher, she looks t be progressing nicely. Can make her presence felt. SPLIT THE GEE (3) finished 0.9L off Ladies Pro last start and stretches out to 1400m again today. She should get every chance in the run from a good draw and she meets Ladies Pro better at the weights. Can turn the tables. GOD'S RAPTURE (5) comes through the same race and should sit much closer today from the inside draw. Expecting him to be much closer. SPELLBORN (6) has claims off a good maiden win at Belmont last time out.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Ladies Pro can get the job done again.
2 01:44 RELIABLE ASSET MAINTENANCE HANDICAP 1800m
Pace genuine with Uni Queen and Decoration pressing hard closely followed by Myzoom and Fifth Essence. ARRANGEMENT (6) won well two back before a narrow defeat over the mile here in a CL3 last start. Out to 1800m now looks a good move and Pike hops in the saddle. He looks a progressive type on the rise and while this is tougher, he looks up to the mark on his recent efforts. Can go one better now. CLASSIC IMPACT (3) bolted in here two back before getting a long way back in the run last start and never really featuring, ending up 4.3L off the winner. An inside draw this time can see him back on the speed where she was running her best figures recently. Can bounce back in a big way. MYZOOM (7) ran away with the win in a CL1 event last start over the mile and rises to this trip for the first time. Reminds down in the weights now and the rise in trip looks no issue on her latest effort. Include. FIFTH ESSENCE (1) can sit on the speed out in trip for the first time and will take catching. STARATING (4) is better than she showed last start and can bounce back in a big way.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Arrangement looks a nice horse on the rise.
3 02:19 PETERS INVESTMENTS PLATE 1100m
Tricky one to map with a number of debutants but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. MARK THE SKY (5) is on debut for the Dan Morton stable and there's plenty to like. He's a well-related colt, a brother to G1 winner Portland Sky as well as a couple of other handy types. His latest trial was enormous and if he can run up to that effort on debut, he'll be very hard to beat. COS I AM (6) settled near the back on debut and flew home to win over 1000m. The slight rise in distance looks a key for her and her racing pattern last start suggests the wide draw isn't a problem either. Watch for her flying late once again. HILLSIDE AVENUE (7) missed narrowly as the odds-on favourite at Pinjarra last start and may be better suited back to the 1100m journey. She'll need some luck from out wide, but she'll be hard to run down if she can get across. RUN RUPERT RUN (4) was very impressive at the trials coming into this and Pike sticks from his latest heat. Keep safe. OFFICIAL BUSINESS (2) gets the winkers on first time today and improvement is expected.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Mark The Sky can make a statement on debut.
4 02:55 ULE HOOF OIL HANDICAP 1600m
Genuine tempo from Dug Another Hole leading Defending. DEFENDING (3) is hard to knock on recent form, winning three back and going close on two occasions since. Nottle remains on board and he boasts a strong record over this course and distance. Can put himself in a handy position again and will take plenty of beating. ODINAKA (1) missed by 0.7L over the 1400m journey here last start and looks back in top order. Harvey rides now from an inside draw and he rates highly with further improvement expected. Wouldn't surprise to see him return to winning ways. SOLDANELLE (2) has disappointed in her past couple but has drawn wide on both occasions. She'll be able to sit a touch closer now from a better draw on the quick turnaround. Won 2/4 at this track and trip and is not to be discounted. DUG ANOTHER HOLE (6) steps out to the mile for the first time today and will be in this for a long way. SIMPLY THINKIN' (5) is next best with the aid of an inside barrier.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Defending can continue his strong run of form.
5 03:30 RSLWA TROPHY 1000m
Expecting Castle Road to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. SHMOOV MOOVA (3) looks back on song judging by his latest trial where he bolted in. He's a fresh winner in the past and he's unbeaten over this course and distance. Still has some upside and he looks ready to go to the next level this time in work. BLACK ORA (1) jumped favourite in the Marjorie Charleson last start but may not have run out the extra trip. Back to her preferred track and trip now and she looks to get plenty of favours. Can get back to winning ways now without surprising. SOUND OF SPEED (8) was trending the right way before never featuring in the Magic Millions 3YO before a short break. Should find a handy position from the good barrier and if he can be at his best off a freshen, he'll be hard to hold out. CASTLE ROAD (5) can sit handy with a good barrier and can be in this for a long way. CHARINO (2) can feature first-up despite not having a trial.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Shmoov Moova looks the one to beat first-up.
6 04:04 DIGGERS CUP 1800m
Genuine tempo with the speedy Fancy Red leading the way. The first of the features now and ROYAL TORONADO (3) looks the one to beat off back-to-back wins. He bolted in to win the Pinjarra Cup last start by 2.6L and while he rises in weight, he boasts 3 wins from 5 starts at this track and trip. Pike rides from a good draw and it's hard to see anything turning the tables. FANCY RED (5) wasn't beaten far in the Bunbury Cup before dropping back to the mile last start where they were too zippy. Now back out in distance and she can take up the running under CJP who replaces the apprentice. Can get back to winning ways. OUTSPOKEN LAD (7) bolted in to win the Narrogin Cup a fortnight ago in good style. This is tougher, but he turned in a strong figure there and Brad Parnham now hops on board. Can be in the finish if he holds his form. TRIO (6) steps out in trip now and can improve. OLY'S CHOICE (2) is building nicely after a long layoff and won't be far away.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Royal Toronado can extend his winning run.
7 04:40 SHEILA GWYNNE CLASSIC 1400m
Platinum Shot to take up the running at a moderate tempo. LONDON'S IMAGE (1) bounced back to winning ways last start when back to 1200m, with the form already working out well. Drawn to get every chance again out to 1400m where she is a winner here. Can repeat the dose in what looks a similar race. BE BARDOT (8) is the fresh blood in this and looks ready for a big race fresh. Pike sticks from the trials coming in and she bolted in when fresh last campaign. Drawn a gate here and it wouldn't surprise to see her return with a bang. BONJOY (2) missed in the Old Comrade but was in hot form prior to that. CJP remains in the saddle as she comes here off a freshen and her win at Bunbury over this trip three back was fantastic. Can get back to winning ways. TOROPA (4) is 1/1 over this course and distance and pulled up with an issue last start. Can sit handy and be in this for a long way. FAST FLICKER (3) can't be left out on her recent form.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with London's Image in the Sheila Gwynne Classic.
8 05:15 BANKS AVENUE MEMORIAL HANDICAP 1200m
Exceltrain to take charge ahead of Sunny Honey at a strong tempo. MALLETIER (7) is going well this campaign and is on the quick turnaround after winning by 0.7L at this track and trip as the race favourite last time out. Pike remains in the saddle and he still rates highly off that effort in defeat. He drops 1kg and can get back to winning ways now. TIMELESS GEM (6) is racing well without winning and rates highly on her recent efforts. He'll need some luck from the draw and Martinan's claim comes in handy. He's shown early speed in the past and if he can get across from the wide alley, he'll be in this for a long way. SIXINCH HEELS (9) was super first-up over 1000m and is better suited out to this trip now. Fiore remains in the saddle and she's won 2/4 at this track and trip previously. Still has some upside and can make an impression second-up. POND MASTER (3) is unbeaten third-up and has to be included on his latest effort. SUNNY HONEY (5) is next best following a strong run here recently.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Malletier can return to winning form.
