Strong pace with Coronado Bridge pushing forward along with Picara from an outside gate. PICARA (12) was right in contention when they turned for home and kept finding to finish second last start over 1400m at this track, beaten a neck when fresh from a spell as favourite. Won only try second-up and loves the trip. Take catching despite the tricky draw. PORT DE LA MER (3) finished fifth when first-up from a spell last start over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt after racing on the pace for much of the way. Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. CORONADO BRIDGE (6) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 6 lengths away in 15th over 1800m in the G3 Radio Nikkei Sho at Fukushima on June 28. All three last time in were in stakes class. This is an ideal race to kick off. Top hope. MOZU TACHIAGARE (2) is third up today and looks close to a win after finishing a close third last time out over 1400m at this track. Should camp just off the leaders. Sure to be thereabouts.
