The Lupercal and Patrioticintention have the pace to take up the running at a solid tempo. PATRIOTICINTENTION (3) is holding his form and did a good job to control the speed and grip on to secure second over 1212m at Coffs Harbour in this company. Gets a similar set-up and can put these away with Palmer's 3kg claim. CUSTO (5) doesn't know how to run a bad race and comes here on the backup after finishing fourth over 1000m at the Sunshine Coast in C5 grade. Gets map favours and finds a winnable race. BATTLE OF VIENNA (4) can score a long overdue win with the claim second up from the right barrier. Covered ground in the run from the wide gate and far from disgraced when seventh over 1200m at the Gold Coast. Each-way player. HUMPHREE BEAR (6) goes well on his home track and is ready for this trip. Came out quickly and folded up in the straight over the final 200m when fourth over 1010m at Coffs Harbour. Assess on the good third here two back over the 1200m. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 3,5,4,6.
