Calypso King to take up the running at a moderate tempo. JOHNNY BE GOOD (5) produced a powerful finish from well back to grab second over 1400m here last time. He looks suited by the step up in trip and should be charging home late. He can have the last say again. SEPHIA (8) had the run to suit when scoring a big win over 1700m here last time out as the favourite on a heavy track. She stays in the same class, and an extra 2kg should not stop her from going close to repeating the dose. LIMOSA (9) followed up her gritty win in a modest field at Mt Gambier with another bold effort to finish runner-up behind the second pick in the same race here 18 days ago. Stick with her. KINGSFORD (3) has been well below his best in two runs since a spell, including his last start when suffering a cardiac arrhythmia. He is worth another chance. SHEER LUNACY (6) is a durable veteran who performs best on soft ground and will be suited to stepping up to 1700m, after some solid efforts recently over a mile. Keep him safe in all top 4 combos. SUGGESTED PLAY: Johnny Be Good can take this out.
