WINGS OF LOVE (1) resumes as the horse with the cleanest winning profile, having strung together four Kanazawa wins before the break and returning to a C1 over 1500m with a perfect record both at the track and with Yuma Shibata aboard. The only reservation is the three-month gap, but his last two wins were backed by strong market confidence. OBRA MAESTRA (2) has a similar first-up query yet brings reliable Kanazawa form, including a four-length win two starts ago and a solid second to Al Satwa. GOOD LUCK STAR (12) is the race-fit danger: she was beaten just over half a length last start, stays on 52kg and is proven at this track and distance, although her low win strike rate keeps her from being the top pick. YUME KANAUKEN (9) has the softer winning case, but her season record gives her a genuine place-and-upset profile if the principals are below their best.
