Hot tempo expected from Novalis and Comet San. KATSU DARUMA (9) made considerable ground in the run home to finish third last start over 1200m at Chukyo. Will be tough to hold out again. ELDER KRONE (4) met with solid support last start over 1200m at Chukyo Dirt when fourth, beaten 9 lengths. Great chance to atone. KOJI UN (3) went forward over 1400m at Chukyo last time but found a couple better. Should settle in a handy position. Will be hard to run down again. ATLANTA (1) has not raced since being well supported on his debut on July 12 over 1200m at Kokura when he finished sixth, beaten 8 lengths. Will be better for that run and is expected to go well.
