Should be poised just off the lead. Jockey has a strong record while aboard. Expected to be in the finish. NARITA ESPERANZA (10) comes here off a break of 12 weeks. Scored over 2000m at this track at the start of last prep. Goes well fresh and here. Will give a sight. JOY BOY (11) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on June 14, finishing fourth and beaten 3.5 lengths over 2400m at Tokyo. Worth plenty of thought. BETTLES (15) comes here off a break of three-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 2400m at this track. Definite top-three chance.
