Reasonable tempo with Iceberry probably leading but a few others should keep her honest. THE BANTAM (2) presents third up and looking well placed back in grade again having run a great race first up at Sandown Lakeside in a BM70 before an even effort at Bendigo last time. His best form is better than this level and if he runs to it he should prove awfully hard to hold out. HIDE YOUR ASSETS (7) just missed at Wangaratta coming back in trip last time out and up to 1450m here looks perfect. ALPINOVA (5) doesn't win out of turn but is going quite well and now steps up in trip on a quick backup which could spark some improvement. Can be hitting the line strongly. MAGIC EDITION (10) is stepping out at this course for the first time. Last appeared when she finished fourth over 1500m at Ballarat Synthetic on August 19. In the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Bantam to win.
