Off the low draw Novela is likely to find the lead at a slick tempo. Former SA galloper NOVELA (10) was too bad to be true in his first run for the new yard but then just ran into one better here at the latest effort. Ready to peak now third-up from the break and should be able to get across easily from gate three. Ideally placed to take this out. TYMON (7) was a touch disappointing last time out but the form prior was full of merit. Capable of bouncing right back. BETTER BE SLICK (2) got an overdue victory at the latest outing and is sure to have derived a stack of confidence from that win. Can go right on with the job now. HYDE PARK (4) is a bit of a hit or miss type but is certainly capable enough on his day. Top-three candidate on best form. CANDLELIT (3) best of the rest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Novela.
