Ghielmi and Scarlet Monarch can be prominent. GHIELMI (1) resumes and brings strong provincial form. Led and blitzed a recent trial field by 7.3L at Kembla Grange. Should jump straight to the front and run these off their legs for powerful connections. MAGIC SPEED (3) resumes and won her Maiden here by 2.8L two starts back at her debut. She was backed off the map in a Wagga Open 2 following and spoilt things by bounding at the start. She will be naturally improved and should be forming the quinella. SHE'S THE KEY (5) resumes and won her Maiden this track/trip fresh, three starts back. Cahill sticks aboard, and she can get into the trifecta if presented forward again. SCARLET MONARCH (8) placed at Narromine first-up when heavily bet and can build on that. She's likely to be doing the chasing. SUGGESTED PLAY: Brave to go past Ghielmi.
