Moderate tempo expected with Resilient likely to find the front over Chypre Note and Gifted Abelia. GIFTED ABELIA (3) has switched yards since finishing sixth five-and-a-half weeks ago over 1200m at Chukyo. Winning chance for the new barn. MAGNA DOMUS (6) is yet to break through in seven runs. Finished 16th at his last appearance over 1400m at Chukyo on July 27 after he was well back on straightening. Well placed here in easier and gets his chance to break the ice. RESILIENT (5) is returning from a spell of 12 weeks. Finished 17th at Tokyo over 1400m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Yukichi Sugawara. One of the genuine hopes in the race. AZZURRA (8) finished eighth at her most recent appearance over 1200m at this track. Look for an improved run here.
