Looks to be plenty of pace with Romuald and Cowboykickedfive battling for the lead. AMERICAN GAS (1) resumed with a solid third as favourite at Swan Hill, working home nicely from midfield to be beaten under a length. He'd shown ability without quite breaking through last time in and with that run under the belt he rates highly on the home deck. JOTOPELI (4) has been around the mark in three runs to date and should be ready to handle a rise in trip now. Drawn to effect, he won't need to improve too much. ROMUALD (6) has been okay in two runs back and should find this more to his liking off a sharp rise in trip second up. THE SMASH FACTOR (7) was good late here and can hit the line well. SUGGESTED PLAY: American Gas to win.
