Not much early pressure but Pick Wisely, Grinding Away and Coastal Whispers can take up forward spots. PICK WISELY (4) is knocking on the door having just found one better at his past couple of starts. Gave a good sight when beaten under a length at Pakenham Synthetic as favourite last time and really should be breaking through here. STAR OF STIRLING (5) is a lightly raced type and the main danger having shown nice improvement at his second outing when quickly up in trip at Seymour. Should come on from that and prove hard to hold out. BERNIE BEEL (1) is a 41 start maiden so tread carefully but his last start second placing here gives him some claims. COASTAL WHISPERS (7) is tracking the right way and draws well off a career best run at Casterton last time out. Can win. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pick Wisely to win.
