Flick Roll and A Good Yarn possess good early speed. RIVKIN (1) comes back a fair way in grade off a 60 day let up having contested a stronger BM64 at Geelong when last seen, sent around as a $5 chance but struggling. His form prior to that was in stronger grades again and while he's got the big weight, his best is simply better than these. MOAKSUN (6) is coming off a smart maiden win at Ballarat Synthetic as favourite, leading throughout. Back onto turf here but he's handled that fine in the past and finds a suitable next target. A GOOD YARN (4) is an old veteran coming off a rare win at Hamilton, absolutely bolting in by eight lengths on heavy going. Drawn the pole, he can make it a double. STARGUST (5) will be better suited back to 1000m and can improve. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rivkin to win.
