Nothing Special is the likely leader at a slick tempo. CHILLI CRAB (2) missed a nose in the country on debut and resumed well supported at Wyong and sat handy before folding up badly (vet cleared). She's in a leading Sydney yard and a sharper effort is likely on a 23-day return. Better suited and this isn't hard. PARTING THE SEAS (1) switched from the same stable to Matthew Kelley in Canberra and is on debut. He was last seen in March winning a Warwick Farm trial by 5L. Has likely had issues, and the betting will be key. To complicate things further, NOTHING SPECIAL (10) resumes and has switched to Gratz Vella from the Kelley barn. He will be naturally improved and the blinkers are on again. Showed enough in an Open 2 at Canberra on debut to suggest he'll be very competitive. SHAFT ATTACK (11) is a local third-up. Needs some luck pushing forward from a wide gate but he won't be far away if things work out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Chilli Crab appeals most.
