Genuine tempo with Or Noir to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. OR NOIR (1) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when 11th, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 1800m at Hakodate. Has further improvement to come and is worth following up. TABLAO (5) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 5 lengths over 1500m at this track. Should settle handy in the run. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is right in contention. TRUCHOT (6) is a progressive three-year-old colt who resumes from a break of four-and-a-half months, his last appearance being a win over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Has never been out of the placings first up from two tries. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One to consider. SUMMER AGAIN (10) last appeared when he scored over 1600m at this track on July 8. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Kaoru Watanabe. Definite top-three chance.
