From the wide gate Leconfield can cross and lead a race without a great deal of pace on paper. The well-related LECONFIELD (3) (half to G2 winner Tuscan Queen) has been consistent without winning, hitting the top-five in seven of eight starts to date and this is not an overly strong affair. Will be ready to peak now fourth-up from the spell and only needs some luck navigating from the sticky draw to be playing a major role in the outcome. CHARM TELLER (10) has placed at her past five outings and looks to be building up to a maiden victory. Looms as the main danger. ARIK LAD (1) only narrowly went down around this circuit at the latest effort and gets some weight relief with the claim. Up to the 1400m now and expect another solid outing. COMBAT CRUSADER (2) strips fitter second-up from the break and may earn some minor money. SUPEEDO GONZALES (7) rounds out the selections. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leconfield to shed the maiden tag.
