Just a moderate tempo headed by Grand Forest, T O Conder and June Nadeshiko. GRAND FOREST (7) started this prep with a win two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when in contention on the corner before winding up in second over 1400m at this track, beaten half a length. Meets some better types this time but another win is not out of the question. T O CONDER (6) made progress last time out, finishing 5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1870m at this track after being in contention on the turn. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. MEINER THRACIA (8) last appeared six-and-a-half weeks ago over 2000m at Fukushima when he finished 12th. This is his first run for the Hiroki Minami stable. Can measure up for the new barn. GARRA DE LEON (4) has not won for a long while. Last raced on August 8 when beaten 17 lengths into eighth at this track over 1400m. In the right race and should be in the mix.
