MARLOWE (7) is poised to win after placing at his last four outings, most recently when third over 1500m at this track when he was handy all the way. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. FUKU ALBATROSS (1) did well to score at this track two runs ago. Decent effort last time out when in the firing line on the corner before finishing second over 1600m at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. TAISEI THRIVE (9) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 3 lengths over 1700m at this track. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and he looks sure to be in the mix. T'S SERAPH (6) started at $4.10 last time but could only manage fourth, beaten 6 lengths, at this track over 1600m. Winning rider Fuma Ono stays aboard. Must be respected.
