Has further improvement to come and expected to go one better. SOUTHAMPTON FLARE (4) returns from a 29-day let-up. Back in grade today after racing without luck when seventh over 1100m at Doomben. Trained locally and expecting a much better performance. SIGLO DE ORO (3) came out fast from the awkward gate when a fading eighth over 1350m at Ipswich. Placed here and expected to get a more economical run. HE IS THE KISS (2) deep into the prep and ready to lift after finishing fourth over 1150m on the Gold Coast Poly. Exotic player.
