Solid tempo anticipated with Pasadena Dream taking charge. MEISHO SHIBUKI (6) produced a good effort last start when third over 1400m at this track to make it three minor placings from four runs this preparation. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Best figures should see him run well. MORNINGTON LINE (7) again failed to feature last start, finishing seventh and beaten 8 lengths over 1230m at this track. Looks well placed this line-up and deserves another chance. FACE NINE (2) did little and finished 9 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1400m at this track last start, a less impressive effort than her fifth at this track the run before. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. OBEDIENT (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
