MOOCHI STARLIGHT (4) has just run into one better at the past few outings with two of those seconds coming around this circuit. Gets plenty of weight relief with the 3kg claim and finds a suitable race here. Will prove tough to hold out. PEAKING TOM (5) has hit the top-five in eight of his past nine starts and should get a gun run in transit from gate four. Rates a genuine top-three contender. TRUSTY BANDIT (6) put in a career-best performance when second at Dalby last time out and will be ready to peak now third-up from the spell. Can feature on the nine-day back-up. GEE UP (2) gets the services of Huxtable in the irons and only needs some luck from the wide draw to be playing a role in the outcome. CHECK ONE TWO (7) next best with the claim from the favourable draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Moochi Starlight to go one better.
