Four Esses and Seasmoke to take up the running at a genuine tempo. MACHETE (8) made a good return over the Albury 900m, chasing gamely into fourth. The form from the race has stuck up superbly with already three subsequent winners. Kept fresh for this and will appreciate the added 100m. Bold showing anticipated. BLESSING SEASON (5) is another debutant. By Written By and has shown enough at the trials to warrant consideration. Market watch advised. DOUBTFREE (2) was plain fresh at Albury but strips fitter and can lift sharply. Don’t dismiss for the minors. Debutant SACRE BLEU (4) is a son of Pierata from Cedar Lane who was purchased for AUD $ 6,000 (Inglis 2023 APRIL (Late) Online Sale).
