Genuine tempo with the speedy Pan A Million leading the way. PAN A MILLION (3) has been a model of consistency in two runs back and should have little trouble stretching out to the 1550m for the first time. Went out hard in the heavy (8) going when holding on late for a gritty second over 1300m at Toowoomba. Was a month between runs on that occasion and gets his chance today. SO YOU CAN TORQUE (9) broke his maiden status at this track last year and strips fitter after three runs back. This looks an easier test with Newman's 2kg claim after chipping away late when sixth over 1400m at the Sunshine Coast. Gets his chance from the good draw. MISS UCHITEL (6) handy mare resuming. Anchored with the 60kg when a fading sixth over this course and distance on June 26. Comes to hand quickly and fitted with a 1050m trial at Deagon. Drops in weight and shapes as a value player. FRIEND IN NEED (2) consistent mare resuming. Capable of testing these at this level and has the speed to get cover from the sticky gate. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 3,9,6,2.
