Itza Charmdeel is the likely leader and should be able to get there comfortably. CARACORON (3) proven at this trip and looks well placed today. Held his ground through the line when a close-up sixth over 1600m at Doomben in BM70 grade. Undefeated on a heavy track and look for him late on the backup. SHERRIFF CODY (2) tough old gelding who retains his zest for racing. Back in grade after attacking the line strongly when third over 2000m at Coffs Harbour. Four of his six wins have come on the heavy tracks and races best with his runs spaced. PAPAL MISS (6) has mixed form at her last four outings and anywhere near her best can see her take a hand in the finish. Chipped away late when fourth over 2200m at the Sunshine Coast. Can get cover early from the draw. SAXINOUE (7) lightly raced Saxon Warrior gelding ready for the 2020m.
