Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Among the leading chances. MANDALAY (3) built on a nice third two starts back at this track with a win over 1200m at this track four weeks ago, getting home by one length. Ryo Novata scored on him last time and retains the ride. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot score again. SEKITEI JUO (10) has been in the placings his past two starts, finishing second over 1200m at this track last time out. Should park just off the speed despite the draw. Sure to be competitive. DAIYU FARINA (1) won at this track two starts ago but was below his best at a more recent appearance, finishing fifth over 1200m at this track. Has a good record at this course and distance, including three wins. Suitably placed so expecting a better run this time.
