CORDS OF LOVE (4) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Looks well placed so expect another big run. CORNICHE (5) was in contention on the bend and finished third last start over 1400m at Kawasaki, beaten 3.5 lengths. Has the class to find the winners' list. SMILE VANILLA (6) is a five-start maiden who finished eighth, beaten 13 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at this track. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time.
