Fitter for that and with even luck from the wide draw he will take some stopping. CAPTAIN NAY (5) resumes off a seven-month spell and is proven fresh, having kicked off his last prep with a Gundagai win. Hasn't been seen at public work but is clearly capable of striking first-up again. ABSTRUSE (3) rarely wins but continues to run honest races, placing again at Moruya last start. In the mix for another minor cheque. MAGNOLIA STAR (13) settled back but kept coming to finish third over 1065m at Wagga Riverside last start. Has heavy form and is worth including. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Laguna Seca to win.
